He said he took out (6 or so screws) and it was loose, but wouldn't come out. Are there any hidden screws/bolts/metaphysical attachments that hold it in there?
Also: Does anyone know where I can find a good manual for my 65? We're getting into the wiring and whatnot, and I need a good guide. Any ideas?

Well, the 65 is slightly different than the '62, but that one is just held in by the screws through the face and the instrument cables themselves.
As for the manual, you can get reproductions of the factory service manuals from most of the suppliers on the links page.
Brian | | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | if your talking bout the whole gosh dang dash it ain't going to come out i seen this on my 70 Chevy also but on the front top part of the dash where it meets the bottom of the windsheild it is spot welded to the windsheild frame atleast it is on my 70 don't know if your 65 would be the same or not
