Having more money than sense stretches way beyond American borders - we don't exactly have the corner of that market. And obviously, we don't corner the market on stereotyping either.

I figure if you're gonna have an old truck, it oughta drive like an old truck. At least, that's the way I feel about mine. Definitely something to that bench seat and big steering wheel.

I figure if you're gonna have an old truck it ought to drive however you want it to. Vehicles are as much a statement of your personal taste as anything else you own.

Big steering wheel, no power anything, no air...great if that's what you like.

20" rims, "felon" steering wheel, and pink fur dice on the mirror...that's cool too as long as it suits your personal taste and I don't have to drive it.

High 5 for Tex, well said Pal! People get so hungup on stock verses modified that they loose sight of whats important. That all these trucks stay out of the crusher and on the road. Need I remind all you bone stockers that where would we be if back in the late 30s and 40s men like edelbrock, crane, Insky, Edmunds, Offenhauser etc didnt take those fenders off those coupes and roasters to go faster? What if they just drove them around stock and didnt want them to run better and handle and stop better? Then maybe we wouldnt have the aftermarket (modified parts) companies today. And with that came more interets in older vehicles and the demand for restoration parts (reproduction). Such as Danchuck and Drake etc. So I guess its a good thing that some people like it stock and some like it modified and some like myself can appreciate both and not be narrow minded. Because with just one or the other this world wouldnt only be extremely boring but we wouldnt have the aftermarket parts modified and stock availible to our hobby that we do today. So I guess modified is good after all isnt it?
