There was a thread awhile back on here where a fellow built a dimpled fender.. looked pretty good.
I dont know of anybody selling repro dimpled fenders.. but originals might pop up on eBay from time to time.
an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.

I had 2 spare tire fenders and traded both for non spare tire fenders. One in the Stovebolt swap meet, one locally.

I can get the 5 3/4 from the inside which would leave whatever on the outside of the fender. But how far up from the bottom? And, is there any tilt to the centerline as to its position on the fender?
