Anyone have experience with this swap? Also, I would like to add the power brake booster from the wagon, and maybe even the tilt column. Anyone have comments on either of these swaps? Thanks! So youd have to relocate it. Also the sixer mounts in the front and the V8 on the front-sides. Maybe a relocated tranny mount? Thats all I have to say, anyone else?

Currently it does have the bell housing tranny mount. I know I'll have to make some mounts. Anyone know of factory mounts that are close enough to modify?

What's sinful about going with the engine/trans combination that Y-O-U want. I'm entertaining a 350/700R4 combo myself for my '66 stepside. And I don't feel the least bit "guilty". I kinda see it as a "do-it-the-first-time-and-get-it-over-with" thing. Since I plan on having a daily interstate driver with power brakes this serves my best interests. -ftyler
