Nothing like bringing them back to life to make your day! One word of caution from personal experience. Make sure you got ALL of the old gas out of the tank first. I THOUGHT I had it all out, found out I was wrong when the fresh gas released enough of the old varnish to stick two of the valves shut after I turned it off & bent two pushrods the next time I tried to fire it up. Important lesson learned. grin

atomarc - you guys were right - bad battery even though everythng "checked out"- points were almost welded shut as well. the "hum" from the starter was it asking for more juice i guess. i was really looking forward to getting the house painted but i guess i will let you slide this time!
