hey guys, can anyone tell me the exact difference in the raduiator support in a '67 vs. a '69?

i'm putting a '67 front clip on a '69, but the rad support is shot. so, yah. lol

thanks!

Sam.

1969 K20 , with a '67 front clip. fleetside. 292, 3x1 offy, headers. sm465 4spd. getting put back together, almost ready for paint.
doing it all myself.
19 and lovin' it.

"proper" is so over-rated.

Sam
to my knowledge the 67/68 rad support was a little lower in overall height
If you notice the 69/72 hoods all sat high wear as the 67/68 were sorta nosed/shaved from the factory.
(and imho looked alot better lol) wink
As far as using the ENTIRE clip,I believe it will bolt straight up.
Take some measurements to be sure, but I believe that the hood and door lines are the same.
I,m sure if i,m wrong the tribal elders will correct me,post haste.

thats for the reply Steve.

and, yes. in myopinion also, the '67/'68 look alot better than the '69 and up. hense, why i'm changing to that front clip.

well, anyone else wanna pipe up about if the grill, fenders, and hood of a '67 will bolt up to a '69 radiator support?

thanks in advance!

Sam.
