For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2005 Posts: 10 | I have a 57 3100 with the spare tire cut-out in the drivers side rear fender. At some point in the trucks life someone has welded in a patch to fill the cut-out and of course it doesnt fit. I want to replace the entire frender with one that doesnt have the spare tire cut-out. Do they make new rear fenders without the cut-out or do I have to find a donor truck and if so what all years will work? | | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 77 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 77 | 55 2nd series thru 66 uses the same rear fender, your better off with a used than trying a repop that is not the quality or fit of factory fenders. jim | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 275 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 275 | 1955-66 will fit and yes they are making repos both in steel and fiberglass. You can by them from most companies that deal with old GM trucks.
