As for the interior light, all of my trucks have it in the back of the cab behind your head. This was an external thing, as there was no light attached to the wire. The wiring was of the same vintage as the rest of the wiring and was concealed under the roof lining.
unfortunately i have no idea who even owned my truck before me. I believe he had passed away. As for roo huntin, i'm sure the truck seen some of that action. As an emergency vehicle, i very much doubt that.

sorry | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | My 48 had a clearance light bar that ran across the roof and was powered by a single wire through the roof. The lights weren't mounted to the cab but rather to a bar and some brackets attached to the rain gutter on each side of the truck. I'm sure it's some aftermarket add-on done early in your trucks life.
