A simple spindle swap has me replacing alot more than planned but while I'm in there... Are there any tips on getting the cross shafts off of the A-arms? Do I have to replace the cross shafts when I put in new bushings? Thanks.

Unscrew the caps from the A-arm & remove the shaft. It all comes in a kit. Put the seals on the new shaft. Put the shaft in place & start one cap. Start the other cap to keep it all lined up. Screw the caps in tight & measure to make shure the shaft is centered.

Mine were really gunked up. Are there supposed to be threads on the A-arm? Do the caps spin with the shaft or the arm? Thanks.

They pivot on the shaft. Usually the new caps are a little o-sized to fit tight in the a-arm. If they don,t you can have them welded to the a-arm to keep them from turning. If you keep them greased they will last practically forever.
