Where do I find the casting numbers on the block on a 54-55 6 cylinder?

On the top of the starter towards the front of the engine. It's cast (raised) Example B125 Would be B=February, 12=12th of the month, 5= 1955.

The casting numbers (7 digits) on my '54 is located in front of the fuel pump on the lower edge of the block near the oil pan.
