After having 4 problems with one rebuilt engine and not even getting the second rebuilt engine started before water started pooring out the exhust, I finnally went with a brand new 350 330 horse power chevy crate engine and am now driving my truck. What a relief. This was almost a 2 year project Have a look here. Stuart

I have also followed your project for what seems to have been a long time. Probably ages for you.

Congratulations on the completion of this stage of your project.

What a tremendous amount of work. You should certainly be proud.

Looks to good to be a work truck. I would love to see that truck with a 46 bed on it with extended fenders and large tires. Awesome truck, man.

Those fenders look just like they came from the factory! I was waiting to see how the headlights looked after the paint, looks like they belong there. Great work and thanks for the documentation.

Thank you everyone for all the positive feed back. The problems with the engines were really getting me down, a couple of days there i thought i was going to puke. But i just stuck with it and now it is paying off. Have been driving now for three days and have been getting lots of waves and thumbs up, but what i really like to see is when people get a really big smile on there face, it makes me feel good too. Bill the paint is a three stage PPG radiance 2 the base I used is violet, 5 coats Then 7 coats of orange glow and 4 coats of clear
