Eric, Great meetin you & yours too. I went to the Fireman's show today. (Sun) Looked for ya. There were some great vehicles there. Dummy me, forgot my camera. Hope you got some pics of that COE and of that Diamond T car hauler. Those were awesome.

Fred, wish you were closer. I'd love to get them red tucks together. If we ever move back to Florida I'll have to go by way of I-10 this time if it's still there after this dang hurricane.

Bob seems to be a great guy. I had alot of fun with him yesterday, at the show. He's probably being modest, as I haven't seen any mention of it, but he even walked away with a trophy...

But he'll have to tell you about that one.

As for the Deuce, I guess you must be talking about the one from the March show. That's an awesome car.

It was actually a roadster. All steel, all Ford, Blown Flathead if I remember correctly, and driven all over the place. This guy drives that rod all over the country. His dad's equally nice red Deuce roadster was sitting right next to it.

Bob, I didn't make it to the Firemens show. Did you win the Chevelle?

Remember, I was telling you about the AD I didn't buy? Thought I'd share a picture of it with you. I let Dave, (the guy in the Merc. convertible next to my 52 yesterday have it instead.

Joker, It was really a sad story, but one you might recognize down in your neck of the woods.

An "undocumented visitor" from south of your parts, was in the process of being deported for the second time.

His wife, an american citizen, had been fooled by his business partner into believing he was making their house payments, and running the business, while really he wasn't doing either. He'd shut down the business, and ran off with all of the assets.

The owner, explained to me that he would let me have the truck for that price, as he needed that amount to make up the delinquint house payments before he was forced to leave. He didn't want his wife to be homeless.

It was such a sad story, I didn't feel right taking advantage of the guy. I know that truck is worth considerably more.

Any rate, one of my buddies, who had been wanting one for awhile, didn't have the same feelings about it, so I let him have it.
