Hi ,
does anyone know how to remove/install the outside window trim? I have a 54, someone gave me parts from another truck, and it has the coveted stainless trim. thanks, G. man.

The outside window trim is held on by screws from the inside. Take of the inside window trim and you should see them. Buy an assembly manual for the details, you don't want to screw those parts up. The manual is worth the money, in addition to the regular shop manual.

Thanks Greg, I know of Laroke's site, I am a fan of that guy, he's really funny. Thanks GMC, I need to get a manual, even though these trucks are simple, I don't know all that much. You shoulda seen me put the engine in ! (my first) Then I've had about five trannys in there by myself, the list goes on...
