Keep in mind i am 21 and learning alittle about workin on a 64 chevy truck. Anyways i hear the noise and think in my head " i knew i shouldnt have drove my truck today to work!" The rod or something on the control arm broke off. so my truck is hanging down. My truck is at work still. Waiting for my dad to come. So i hope we can fix this soon.

Called a couple salvage places and they have them but they were closing. luckily i have another 64 chevy truck that i just purchased. It isnt running cause i am gonna rebuilted an engine for it so i took one u-bolt off of that. Later i will replace all four for both of my trucks. :)thankyou for replying to my post fred.
