1951 1/2T Torque Tube Axle. I need to replace the rubber splash seals that go on each side of the spring perch on the rear axle.

Before I go to the trouble of making them, does anyone know a supplier that is selling them? Tried Chevy Duty, LMC, Jim Carter with no luck.

The saga ends. After waiting 2 MONTHS for Heavy Chevy to deliver the axle mount pads I cancelled the order. I figured I could plant and grow a rubber tree in the same time it was going to take for these jokers to deliver.

I went down to a local (KC,MO) rubber supply house to get some flat material to make my own. While talking to the counter guy he says "We can make those for you if you want". 2 hours later I had some EXACT copies for a little more than pocket change money.

I'm not sure why so few of the truck vendors list this item? Maybe because nobody replaces them? The book says they are for minimizing noise and that sounds good to me.

Paul, where does it say they are for are for minimizing noise? I've searched and cannot find the reference. I have the 48 to 51 Chevrolet Truck Shop Manual.
