The back of my hood rids high insted of siting where it is supose to no matter how much adjusting I do. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | prolly not the springs - try closing the hood w/ the springs off, if it sits right, the problem is worn hinges - springs job is to make opening easy and hold it open, and they always exert a tension on the hinges so worn pins react to it that way - bad springs mean hood doesn't stay in the open position - repro springs aren't spendy and the repro hinges should be available, they are for other years
