I live in Sherwood Park, Alberta and recently bought a 1950 Chevrolet 3100 3-window. It will be my second project as I rebuilt a 1969 GMC pickup about 8 years ago. It has no engine and lot of dents but fortunately not very much rust. I bought it from Scott's in Penhold and he had found it in Saskatchewan. Guessing it has been sitting in a field for years as it has a 1972 Saskatchewan license plate. Plans are to install either a 235 or 261, put disc brakes up front, swap the rear end to get better brakes and a different gear ratio but otherwise keep it mostly stock. Welcome to the bolt. Looks like you'll be having lots of fun with the new rig. Is that a set of antenna mounts on the side vent? Thats just what I was thinking about doing to my truck. Don't throw that vent lid away!!!

Actually I live just 10 min south of Sherwood Park but I am there everyday. Your truck looks not to bad! Scott is a good guy to deal with. How long has he had that truck? Cause I walked through his yard 2 months ago and can't recall it...looks good. Can't wait to see the progress. Good Luck. | | |
