Next step, any tips on the best companies for insurance? I'm going to drive it every day since it's my only running vehicle. Plus, need insurance to get plates. Thanks.

If you need full coverage, they're great. My Dad and a bunch of my buddies use them. Me thinks All State even farms classic car insurance out to them. Not sure how it'll go if you tell them it's a daily driver...might wanna leave that out if you can. Good luck!

I've got both of my trucks insured through All-State. No appraisal needed, just have to be able to prove it's worth what you say it is, if something happens to it.
In my shopping experience, most of the collector car insurance type places wont cover a daily driver. They require that you provide them with an appraisal, and limit the mileage and use of the truck. The ones I talked to also required that it be kept under lock and key.
Depending on your situation, that might also create an issue.
I work through an agent up in the Louisville and Lafayette, area. She's great. Never met her face to face, just does everything over the phone. If you want the information, send me an e-mail.
I hope that you can make it down to one of our cruise nights (in Brighton) so I can take a look at your new toy.
