Auto hauler question

I own an 18' auto hauler trailer, which is coming due for a paint job. The deck of the trailer is diamond plate metal. Am considering having the deck coated with the same material used in spray-in bed liners. Thought this would give the deck a hard, non skid surface, and increase the overall life of the trailer. Anyone out there done this yet? Comments?

Couldn't hurt! It's got to be less slick than a painted steel surface, so you should have better adhesion and less slippage when you drive a car up onto it. Let us know what you do.
