I don't have a letter designation in the truck manual that covers the 68 C-50, buit the 283 is not listed as an engine option for that year model.

The 68 truck 327 numbers starts with Y, in fact no truck small blocks from 56-70 start with an F. | | |

jut unsure if i need to get it or not, seems cheap but im just unsure
68 would be at least a 327 or better, 366, 427 truck deck, could be several different engines, but if its a sbc gas engine thne would be 327 factory, 68-up anyways
