Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. I do envy the way you celebrate this precious holiday. I wish we Canadians did it the same, but we don't. Just another excuse for extended shopping hours in the malls. An American friend described her Thanksgiving "like Christmas without all the gifts"! I experienced an American Thanksgiving about 15 years ago with friends in Phoenix and still remember it well. I sadly can't recall our last one. And if you are driving, be careful. Don't want to lose anyone especially 'bolters'!

Have no fear, Thanksgiving day is getting commercialized. This year Wally World will be open.

Can't Gord. I like bagel too much! I always pick them up when cruising in my stovebolt. Gives me a reason to go to town!

Remember to give thanks and say a prayer for all of our troops that are spending this Thanksgiving in harms way.
