And I found out where some of the AD trucks are hiding. They had what looked like a rolling chassis w/body of a '49 chevy 5 window cab in there. Had displays in the bed and all around it. I found it more interesting than most of the clothes...

Oh yeah, they've had those for years and years. I think that's why it's called "Old Navy," cause the trucks that old navy color.

I keep trying to get them to give it to me smile

Also, Bass Pro Shop has one over here

I know a fellow who knows a fellow who searches the country for them. Pretty sad because they throw away anything that can leak like the engine.
At least that's the way it is at the Old Navy store in town.

I got a model of an Old Navy AD for my birthday. I'm in the process of converting it to a flatbed.

There is one in the Montreal store.
It's a 3100 too, not a Canadian 1300.

It has a new chrome grill and bumpers but the rest of the truck is gutted.

So if everyone here would organize, we could hit all the stores in one night! Think of all the doors, fenders, hoods, bumpers, wheels, etc. we would have! (Not to mention maybe a couple pair of jeans) grin

All Chebby parts...I've seen one store with a '54 Chebby, but every other one has been a '47-'53 Chebby. No GMCs... grin More GMC parts still out there!

Our Old Navy store in the Oshawa Centre has one, too. Looks like it's built out of pieces of maybe ten or so trucks... frown

Any of the local "Montana's" restaurants I've been into have late forties-early fifties Ford F-1 or F-2 trucks stuck up in the ceiling over the bar area and old Ski-Doo sled above the entryway.

...Apologies for using the "F" word, hope no one has a stroke as a result. wink

Regards,
Wannabe smile
