For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 150 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 150 | Hello all. Does anyone out there have vendors and part numbers for ball joints and shocks for the 1965 C-10? All I get from the parts store Wunderkinds, after the usual pause, is "..gee, the computer doesn't go back that far.." Thanks, Mike | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | Try Carquest or NAPA, I get all of my 64's parts locally, Scott | | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 150 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 150 | thanks. I was trying to check from work, but too impatient I guess. Too much work and no free time. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | Lower ball joint K6023 Upper K6024. These are Moog #s available from carquest. I dont have the part #s for the shocks but I like the Monroe magnums on the front of these trucks & just any standard model on the rear. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 150 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 150 | Thanks for the numbers. I found all the stuff at AutoZone. Funny thing though, in AZ all the stuff is on the shelf, here in Illinois, most of it has to be ordered. Hmmm.... mike | | |
