Online Resto Packs Recently ordered and hope to add 1937, 1940 and 1953 cars and trucks soon. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 | I got the contact information on Stovebolt.com and contacted GM for the referenced restoration information. I received it 3-4 weeks later. I found it very informative. The package includes many little known facts about the referenced vehicle. I got mine for a '66, C-10. Be prepared to provide your personal information and the VIN of your specific vehicle. I think they do this to keep people from requesting info packs for vehicles they do not own. Best of luck and keep on truckin, Stovebolt style. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 565 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 565 | Are these available for GMC also? Thanks in advance. Jeff

Yes they told me how many trucks like mine were produced (they claim 5950 only???)and when and where mine was made and delivered. They also included a ton of photo copies of data pertaining to all sizes of trucks and all were copied from American models. Granted there were few differences in the two countrie's trucks but after reading it, the whole document got filed. BTW the photo copied sheets must have been in a GM book because all of the bound edge sides were blurred. IMHO there are plenty of good web sites and plenty of knowledgeable people in Forums like this, who can provide the same info. Of course my American friends do not have to send money, which makes it a bit more enticing. My 2 cents worth. | | |
