Looking through an oct 11th, issue of people magazine today, had a picture of Kevin Costner, and his bride on their ranch in front of his 1950 ,3100. I also heard that Bruce Springsteen has an AD, pick-up that he drives all around when he's home in new jersey, I wonder how many other stars or celebs are into stovebolts, anyone out there know of any others? old navy 51, from new jersey...............

Fuzzy memory BUT, I thought I saw a show about John Travolta and his wife was getting into a good looking black AD. Can anyone varify that??

Unless it was a wedding present, that Stovebolt Kostner and his bride were standing in front of belonged to her daddy.

The Stovebolt you are referencing that Kevin Costner and his wife rode around in at their wedding, does in fact, belong to his wife's father. She thought it would be novel if she rode to the wedding, at their country hideaway, in her father's truck, which he was driving. He escorted her to the wedding, much like a father would do in giving the bride away at the wedding ceremony. I caught a glimpse of the truck on one of the entertainment news channels highlighting celebrity weddings. I believe their farm is somewhere in Montana, if my memory serves me correctly. Supposedly, her father is an "old truck" enthusiast.
