I'm having a car shipped from Kansas to Ca., but a truck that is 1 1/2ton is big. What I did was get a copy of Hemmings Motor News and I sent out emails to all the transport companys to get their fees. They vary quite a bit. I feel like if they advertise in HMN they are familiar with all kinds of classics. Cecil..........

40s Try Howard Miller auto transport 1-800-996-6959 or cell 1-801-414-7302. he just moved my not runing 1940 suburban from Aspen to Maine on time for price he quoted. A nice guy I will use him next time (tell him Bill sent you).
I got involved with a transport broker 2 months no ride(beware) good luck Bill

I had my 1/2 ton shipped from Washington state to West Virginia. Do a Google search for auto transport. There are several sites where you can provide the details and point to point and you will get a variety of quotes via email. I got about six or so. All seemed reputable.

Call Transcar Auto Shippers 972.602.1670. I went thru a broker who contracted with this firm. They picked up my truck in Colorado and brought it to Mass last fall... cost me $1000. I could have saved $100+ had I gone straight thru them. Tell them Larry was a satisfied customer with the dirver named "Darrel" a nice and professional guy who did 110% for me.
