on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 476 Moderator | | Moderator Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 476 | Last time at the dentist the new dental assistant talked me into buying a "sonic" toothbrush. So I've been using it for a month or so. This morning, while moving it from top to bottom, up and down, up and down, the sonic seemed to be chanting, "Woogeroo, Woogeroo, Woogeroo..."
What can this mean?
Is it a Stovebolt Page fixation? Lord forbid it's a Woogeroo fixation!!! So it occured to me that we need a Dear Woogeroo thread, for advice to the truck lovelorn.
What do you think?

I think I can fix this.
Sometimes when I am running the grinder on my truck the same thing happens.
I hear certain words over and over to the rhythm of the grinder or sander. Drambui,Drambui,Drambui,Drambui,Drambui,Drambui,Drambui,Drambui, or sometimes i hear Al Naipo Al Naipo ( a newsguy's name here in CA) I guess the repitition of a word or song in the head is a stress reaction and also associated with anxiety.
Anyone else ave strange words in their head while working on the truck? | | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 185 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 185 | | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 2,893 Socket Breaker | | Socket Breaker Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 2,893 | | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 476 Moderator | | Moderator Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 476 | Originally posted by In2deep: I hate to reply and break the rules but.... How's it breakin' the rules? I said, "truck" in my post. So did you. I was afraid I had a Stovebolt Page obsession. Last time something got stuck in my head it was, "Billy don't be a Hero" by Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods. (MAKE IT ST-O-O-O-O-O-O-P!) I just thought with the Woog's particular slant on humor, we should be askin' more advice of him.

And then something about cauliflower in your hair, but I don't think those are the right words...
I was driving the '49 up to the hardware store and, not having a radio, found myself singing "Some Enchanted Evening" at the top of my lungs. It was very strange. Evben more so when I just keep doing it -- all three verses and even the chorus...

You know, it was really hard to find a good radio station that you didn't drive away from in a while. Never a lack of entertainment with my dad. And he didn't worry about remembering the words to a song, he just made up the parts he was missing. Or the whole darn thing for that matter. Down in she belly, she belly so low, ham and potatos and baked beans to go... Ham and potatos and baked beans to go, in just an hour, hear the wind blow.
