I am working on a 72 chevy 12 bolt rear end and want to put a 3:40 ring and pinoin on a 3:07 center section. Is this possible?

yes.i believe it should bolt in if not someone sells a spacer.most people WANT a 3.08.most will swap swap a 3.73 rearend and cash for your 3.08.just a thought,.
