Yes sir! (no offense wink ) It's really easier that way -- there's no expectation from others that the item will ever work again.

Hehehehe... While scouring the remains of a local barn, I found a crusty ol' Curtis compressor off of a '58 Ford. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to toss it into the pickup and haul it home.

Actually, I didn't toss it anywhere. The darn thing musta weighed over 200 lbs. That was fun to load. (you should see the base on the thing -- woooo doggy!)

The 56 Dumper looks pretty good too for $1,500...I could fly out there, buy the dumper and and Holiday camper for $800 and have lodging all the way home.....

What kind of camper does someone leave with the tow company....dead relative stashed in the fridge??
