In past my ins. agent always figured a way to cover my bigger trucks. Not sure if he was "stretching" the facts some to get me covered or what. BUT, now, his son took over the business and he says my 4000 tilt cab isn't in the books, so need to go to "commercial" policy. He only had one-ton or less as "personal" trucks that he could cover under "personal" policy. I was so mad, I didn't even get price on Commercial yet. I called diff company, said same thing. So now, not sure if I'm gonna insure it or sell it!
Has anyone else run into this? Is there "tricks" like "classic" or "antique" I can use to get diff coverage? Farm coverage? I live in rural area. Guess I will be shopping Monday.

I just got a very reasonable quote for my vintage vehicles from Haggerty vintage car insurance.

Call Farmers and ask for a "limitted use" policy. Mine costs $25.00 every six months for both of my 1 1/2 tons,
