That said, my guesss would be probably not, but I'm sure someone else here has tried it? but actually regardless of year, all the cabs I've seen [assuming it's not a COE] are the same for any size, and your front sheet metal should fit, but there may be small things they made different to fit the larger frame and fenders, so you might have to adapt a bit

I just picked up the mechanical and model identification data and it turns out it (well the cab for sure) is a '45 2 ton. Everything else is half ton though, ie shortbox, frame, front sheetmetal. So yes, a 2 ton cab is the same.

Probably under a shed too in the winter. Makes sense to me. Thanks for your comments. Eddie
