Nowadays she only gets about 16.5 and that's with 3.55 rear end and only 30K on rebuilt engine. The only difference was, I was probably driving slower back then because the speedo didn't work, and I was running Amoco premium because I could get it cheap (my dad ran a gas station). You guys think they work??

Back in the late 70's a guy from Hutchinson, KS had a 4WD Blazer that he used as a test vehicle. He used the upper radiator hose to heat the fuel before it entered his carburetor. Claimed to be getting over 100 mpg with a 350. And his big money savings came from the pockets of the unknowing!

It is implanted in the cow's stomach in case a nail or a piece of wire gets into the hay, and is eaten. The purpose is to keep the item from traveling through her system, and doing internal damage. I've also heard of them being used to increase gas mileage, but never heard if it worked. | | |
