hey guys, a Q about my t-ruck.

its a 1969 C20 w/ a 292. but it has 4wd. there are emblems that state all these on the fenders...but...if its a C20, why do i have to buy parts under K20? such as tie rod ends...etc.

its sorta puzzling me...but hey! thanks in advance.

1969 K20 , with a '67 front clip. fleetside. 292, 3x1 offy, headers. sm465 4spd. getting put back together, almost ready for paint.
doing it all myself.
19 and lovin' it.

"proper" is so over-rated.

The K is the designated letter for 4wd chevy. So if it is 4wd, you have a K20. Is it an original 4wd? If so, are the fenders original? Or maybe the emblems were changed. At any rate for 4wd suspension parts some are different and will be under the K listings.

well, i checked out the numbers, and it is a K model. i'm just curious why it has the "C/20" emblem, along with the "4 wheel drive" emblem under the sidelight..hmm...previous owner mishap? i dunno..

GM didn't want to produce two sets of emblems. Your truck is correct. Brian
