Is there any difference in the 54 and 55 AD trucks other than title, numbers, etc?

Primary difference is open hotchkiss differential and driveshaft on the 55 1st. Also paint (grill is body color on 54, ivory white on the 55). The model badges on the sides of the hood are also different. Those are the main differences, I believe.

Thanx for the input. The one I'm lookin at has a chrome grille, but the rear axle looks like a later model truck 12 bolt. I'm pushing cob webs outta my brain here, but a Hotchkiss is a front loaded diff isn't it? I mentioned this particular truck before. Now that it's cold and snowy here in SE MI, I'm ready to pitch an offer. It helps they have a for sale sign on the house too... smile

Yeah, that's what I thought...definately not what's in this one. While I say "truck" 12 bolt, it looks very similar to a car 12 bolt (if I had a $1 for every one I've seen...), and granted one can only lay on wet grass so long before just acceptin' it's been changed. The 6 lug axles got me scratchin' my head.

Laroke...thanx again for your input.
