Makes us vulnerable to libel/slander law suits. One person doesn't get their way with a vendor/seller and the whole thing turnes into a flame session. 2. What you are talking about is highly subjective and something, quite frankly, we don't wish to referee. This will have to be something folks discuss/hash out offline. Sorry! It's a good idea, but ... this isn't a perfect world and we're not perfect web developers  Regards, John

If I have a problem with a widget I purchased from some vendor, I gotta take it up directly with the vendor.
Most assurredly, I can't use someone else's space in the newspaper to tell the world about my side of the experience.
The best I could do is talk to whomever will listen--e-mail, regular mail, telephone, whatever, but I can't expect anyone else to rpovide the venue for me to speak--responsibly or otherwise.

'best way to deal with vendors' article or something? Maybe a few tips to consider before purchasing, like checking out their policies before ordering... the return policy, shippin' charges, etc... something general that is not specific to any one vendor. I know a lot of it is common sense type stuff... but it wouldn't hurt. Different vendors have different policies... some vendors have online ordering, others you have to call them...
