Has anyone used them? I'm thinking about using their 6-gauge set and putting it on my truck. The only thing that worries me is that I would have to re-design my dash, cause I don't want one of the stainless steel inserts that they carry.

So if anyone's used them, how did yours turn out? Did they last and how did it look?

Ive not used them, but the ones Ive seen have nice colors. The logos are too large and kinda annoying I think. The SW are always good, and the TPItech ones seem pretty impressive!
Try to stay with real glass, instead of plastic lenses.......... wont fade!

I've never heard of SW and TPItech, do they have websites?

I put Dolphins in my truck 2 years ago ... no complaints. I like the way they look and work.

I like the fact that they offer a pair that appear to be the right fit for the AD dash.

www.brotherstrucks.com offers a guage set but it looks more futureistic. supposed to be direct bolt in. have seen it used in magazine trucks but no personal experience. i am thinking serously about the ones from tpi because of the ability to calabrate on the fly to different wheel and gear ratios. ron

Dolphin gauges are fine for the cost an look good.Its just what you want to pay.I bruoght reconditioned gauges for my 51 for 500.To tell ya the truth they aren't worth a darn..they look good just setting there in the dash.But under the dash are a set of Walmart gauges for 10 bucks.an they work fine for the time.The guy I brought the reconditioned ones from said just return them for a replacement.I can't stand on my head anymore.the gauges are a [censored] to remove unless you eyes are in good shape.Also the warrenty,I brought them 3years before I installed them.So don't buy things ahead of time.you only screw yourself down the road on the warrenty

Thanks guys - I checked out those companies and I like the TPItech - they've got that little push button that you can set things to.

Reason for all this is (since this is the GENERAL truck talk) in the summer I plan on doing a complete remake of my interior. I plan on switching to bucket seats, custom console with CD (that will actually be wired TO THE stock radio ), All new gauges and I'll be making a new dash bezel out of steel...or something - haven't decided that yet. And finally, I'll be re-wiring the speakers, radio, and similar items.

I have the TPI 5 inch gages in my 51, 3100. they have a glass face and look almost like the original and they are electronic and are easy to program. bought mine at street rod show at york last year, about $300.00. old navy 51..........
