Has anyone ever put shoulder belts in a '60-'66 truck? If so tell me what type vehicle you used as a donor for the belts. Are there any after market kits available to install full shoulder belts? I'm going to use this truck as a daily and just want to make it as safe as I can.

Thanks,
Mike

Got my aftermarket belts for my 64 from GEM Streetrods.

Had to drill the upper holes in the cab for the shoulder harness, then secure a nut in there, but not too bad all-in-all.

Also had to drill the floorpans for the retractor... and there is a nice place moulded iin the floor for it on the driver's side.

Thanks, I checked them out and that's the cheapest kit I've seen so far and exactly the same as all the others.

I welded a 1/2-20 nut to a large cab mount washer & welded it inside the upper pillar so the nut would not pull through in an accident. I am using belts from Andover restraints. Brian
