| | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 4 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 4 | I've been investigating upgrading the master cylinder on my son's 60 chevy to a dual master cylinder (I can't afford the disc brake packages yet). I see references to using a 68 pu master as a replacement but when I compare the two the bolt patterns don't match. Is there some adapter plate that needs to be made or am I missing something? Is there a direct bolt in that is better?

I see some master cylinders however they appear to be similar to the '68 m/c I've seen at the parts store. The bolt pattern doesn't match the bolt pattern of the original m/c.
