I have a 1950 Chev pickup and plan to replace the king pins this winter. I see that ssbrakes makes a needle bearing king pin kit. Has anyone tried this? I am wondering if this is a better way to go than the stock bushings?

Sounds interesting. Is that for the thrust brg.
or some type of conversion for the bushings?

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I bought them too and I'm not even sure how to install them. I just hope I can figure it out when I get that far.

Thanks for all your comments. As of now I am planning to go the stock king pin route.
