I saw this on a 46 Chevy that was for sale on E-Bay.I contacted the owner and he told me these are sold in Hot Rod Magazines. You should be able to find a "Gennie" ad in one of the car magazines or on line through Google. Good luck!

You can just see it in one of the new pix for my truck, Jim Merritt's 46. This one fits at the firewall on the radiator rod, lifts up to hold hood, then folds down flat on the firewall. I first saw a set on a guys truck years ago at Pleasanton swap meet, said it was original equipment. Then later found my set. They are just 1 inch flat stock that is folded over and drilled to fit on the radiator support rod. Also has a spot welded on piece that allows the prop to rest on the cowl.
