For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 144 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 144 | Curiosity Drives Me! Is 1937 truck information a sort of a "rarity" or "an uncommon" uniqeness in the States? I do understand these trucks are "Forever" Old! How many of these were made way back then? This is my first question for this year!! We were in a deep recession in the 30,s. Than many were scrapped during WW II. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 9 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 9 | http://la.znet.com/~t1937/History.htm this page has a bunch of information on numbers produced hope it helps Steve | | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 144 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 144 | SCRAPPED!! A friend of mine has been there.....got me a piece for my truck but I think he had to beg!! | | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 703 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 703 | Classic Finn, I'd be happy to help you with your quest. I've been searching forever for a 37 Canopy Express (or pretty much any other year). My neighbor here in Colorado had one that I fell in love with as a kid (back in the 60's). A couple of years ago, he rolled it, totaling it beyond repair. Would have given all but my first born to have had that one prior to the accident. Anyone out there know of another? Don't see too many 37's (trucks that is) in this area of any kind. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 11 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 11 | I have an oringinal 1937 sevice information book for Passenger cars and trucks. It has been printed in large writing . About one hundred pages long. If any one wonts a copy I could take it to the print shop and get a copy for any one interested. I know were there are the remaines of what was once a really nice 37 1/2 ton truck. Unfortunatly it got burnt out when the garage it was in burned to the ground. | | |
