What are some of the ideas out there as far as converting the accelerator linkage from the straight six set-up to the V-8 in the '58 apache . They are not the same and someone put in a ugly lever contraption in the cab of my truck in the past. I would like the original parts that bolt to the engine side of the firewall but I assume there are not too many of those lying around. Thanks

Bob: Go to a speed shop they should have linkage that you can redo and make nice. I'll look at whats on my 59 and see whats up it was changed over to V8 before me. popcorn The Truth is Out There (Should be pretty simple)

I got an original type reproduction at chevy-
Duty. Little pricy but it fit real well. smile

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
