For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 29 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 29 | What are some of the ideas out there as far as converting the accelerator linkage from the straight six set-up to the V-8 in the '58 apache . They are not the same and someone put in a ugly lever contraption in the cab of my truck in the past. I would like the original parts that bolt to the engine side of the firewall but I assume there are not too many of those lying around. I'll look at whats on my 59 and see whats up it was changed over to V8 before me. popcorn The Truth is Out There (Should be pretty simple) | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | I got an original type reproduction at chevy- Duty. Little pricy but it fit real well. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
