Today was my son's black belt test. He passed. grin He is the youngest student to ever earn a black belt at his school. He turned 8 years old last month. I don't know all the details of the test but he broke 2 boards at once with his bare hand eek and did a whole lot of pushups in addition to all of the forms, combinations and weapons that he's learned over the years. I'm so proud I had to tell you all.

Truck reference: We walked past the '46 on the way to the wifes car and I commented on how nice and shiny it looked all wet.

Wow that is great. My twin 8 year old girls' soccer team "the yellow stovebolts" beat up on another bunch of girls 4-3 this morning. A pretty close battle with lots of goals and some decent soccer here and there.
Except for the referee who allowed a goal after the opposing team girl kicked the ball out of my daughter's hands right into the goal. He said she did not have control of the ball.
I looked out at the truck as we were getting ready for the game. smile

Sounds great a little sports espcially about our girls in between wiping down our trucks. Joker e-mail me about your trip. I'll read it while I'm sanding down the bottom side of the cab.

popcorn The Truth is Out There (I proud of the way we have been keeping this truck related) Right MOM!! wink

Shutout soccer game this afternoon. My son scored 4 of the 5 goals. We were going nuts. AYSO U8 boys. I know the coach of the other team. He's probably going nuts too.
My truck looked nice this morning now that the rain stopped. Windshield is leaking - gotta fix that.
Proud Papa. Like I said, What a weekend!

I feel the spirit the young artist/athlete has for their activity is the neatest thing. No matter their ability or out come, to see their drive and dedication always amazes me.
I'm gonna go kiss my Truck good night now and go to bed.
Adios, Kip
