Up here in Kentucky, Halloween is always on October 31, not the 27th. OOPS! My bad, I just realized you meant "too bad that is not occurring on Halloween." That would be cool!

What a beautiful sight. To top it off, just after it became fully eclipsed, a meteorite streaked by it. Waiting for it to lighten back up now. | | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | hey cletis, how much rain did we get in pc? the concrete on the west side of ftw is dry. tony'n weatherford | | | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 | I hope someone got pictures. The sun peeked through the clouds for about an hour in the late afternoon, then we were socked in again.

Tonight clear sky and great view. The total is over and now we see a sliver of bright moon and the rest a pale orange.
From this part of the country things like this almost always happen on rainy days, so this was special.

I can't complain about that. Last year the clouds cleared about 10 minutes after it was over. I got to see most of it this time. Tony, we didn't get much. Mostly drizzle. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | I was able to see just a few minutes of it as it was almost total, then the fog blocked the view
