| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 11 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 11 | i thought i would finally put an end to my door rattle on the '57 and install new door latches; i should off left well e'nuff alone and not tried to tweak it one last time. so now not only does the door no longer rattle but no longer opens! both button and inside handle won't budge. entrance/exit through the passenger side is getting old quick. i've tried accessing in doors' guts through the panel but the bend in it allows no access to the screws with the door in the closed postion!? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | With the door push button depressed, shove the door closed harder, it may unlatch. The other thing is to have someone inside shoving, NOT kicking, while you are pulling outward (WATCHOUT the door does not open and hit you!! )
There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us. - - Be yourself. If you are ever lost, It will be much easier to find yourself if you know who you are!
