The television show American Dreams features the 1960's lives of two families whose male heads work in a TV store. The store has an Advance Design Chevrolet Truck - my bet is that it is a true Stovebolt (having an in-line 6-cylinder engine). The daughter in one family is a regular dancer in American Bandstand.
By the way, back to the original question: "How many remember "The American Band Stand?" I remember it and give it a 10 'cause I liked the variety of rhythmic beats but my girfriend only gave 10s to the songs that were easy to dance to.

American Bandstand!! Loved that show, If it was a slow song I give it a 10, fast song a 7 something about wiggling your butt was against the law. popcorn The Truth is Out There (Back to the shop Oh yea) | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 | Hey Popcorn,
I agree about the slow songs but even in conservative Virginia I found a way to appreciate wiggling butts during faster songs (not mine - the fairer one that were often wiggling in glee and with abandon).

In fact I'm glad those days are gone, goodbye to cars with poor handling, bias tires, whitewalls, sail on brakes, pointy bras, hairspray, and Bobby Vinton. I like modern stuff, except for old trucks and swing dancing. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 | you have been holding to many hot wires.
