I want to patch and smooth every exterior vent on the truck. I think it would be easier to to buy some if they make them. I want them gone because it will be one less place for rust when it is finished and I am putting air in the truck. Thanks for any help.

49' custom 1-ton dually 5 window deluxe | | | | | Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 608 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 608 | rodney... from my very limited knowledge here on THE BOLT and im sure others will pile on! there are no patch panels so to speak to coverup or otherwise eliminate the cowl vents. the only thing you can do is make your own.you can however use a 51/55 1st series left side cowl repair panel to eliminate the drivers side cowl vent found on 47/50 ad trucks. regards steve sr. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 86 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 86 | Look on E-bay there are a few companys that make the full cowl panels without the louvers.
