My better half insisted that her new POS will be parked in the garage by the end of the weekend. I could have done it the easy way and moved The Ox outside, but looked at all the empty spaces here and there and made it happen. I cant do anything in there now, but I can get to the corners with a little gut sucking.

If you do, read the following: Defective Tie rod ends You would think that the tie rods ends in new trucks should be as reliable as the tie rods in our old trucks but apparently they are not. I know competition can lead to cost cutting, but this is playing with people's lives...

Should it be acceptable for Stovebolters to have/drive new(er) Fords if they own at least one Stovebolt?
Or should we opt for a virtual stoning? In the spirit of Christmas and just generally being the magnamimus sort, I say the former.
And what constitutes a "new" Ford, anyway? Any Ford built after 1973?

I had a new 87 F150 and the rubber bushed ball joints would fail after a very short time. i was wondering why I was wearing front tires like a sonofagun. I took it to an alignment shop and they could move the wheels by hand almost an inch. So, I took it to the dealer who was fully aware of the problem and was perfectly willing to fix it with their improved ones. Ofcourse it cost like $400 at the time.
The front end felt better and the IFS is pretty nice but they were notorious tire eaters with really faulty camber changes and the settings could not be adjusted.
BTW, the recent Fjord tolerance has been very disturbing indeed. Aren't we liable endorsing such a flawed product?

We put a lot of work into fixing up rust and driving on salted roads again is not desireable! A lot of us need a second car for winter driving and other reasons. Ford has some attractive deals; I can understand why some will buy them; plus Wayne Gretzky says that they are good. So, I think we should be tolerant.

I was selected to be an extra in the Movie Jarhead and they shaved my head carefully and paid me to be there. I even got to wear a dress uniform and desert gear. Filming next week. Jamie Foxx is supposed to be in it.
