For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | Ok, I've never had this happen before. I came home from work to find a spare tire in the bed of my truck, with the right rim and tire size. No idea who left it, no note, or anything, but thanks to whoever left it. I suspect it was probably one of the local Stovebolt owners who don't frequent the web, but it just struck me as odd. It's nice to have the reverse of something getting stolen. Anyone want to leave me a stereo or a set of jumper cables?

I've never heard of tires before but I do know you never leave your truck windows down in the fall or someone will fill it up with zuchinni. 1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. Now with a '61 261, 848 head, Rochester Monojet carb, SM420 4-speed, 4.10 rear, dual reservoir MC, Bendix up front, 235/85R16 tires, 12-volt w/alternator, electric wipers and a modern radio in the glove box.
